September 12th marked a huge milestone! After 8 months of living in Bali, I have finally been able to say: AMI!! This comes as a pleasant accomplishment, especially for my baby sitter, whose name is Ami.
You would think that since I spend almost all day with her, 6 days a week, that I would’ve been saying her name months ago…Ah well, better late than never I guess…
Now I love saying her name. It’s quite befitting cuz Ami just happens to mean ‘Friend’ in French, and she’s definitely won Best Buddy of the Year in my books! Cheers to AMI!
